Mumnin:

The last twenty years of Jasmine Kamara's life have been spent as a vampire. In addition to the linguistics part of her apprenticeship, seven of those twenty years were spent studying under masters of Sabbat and Kindred Lore alike, and something else which Kamara showed a knack for, interrogation and torture under the skilled and guided hands of Black Hand Masters.

Jasmine wasn't a brutal monsterous killer, but she killed with the sort of enjoyment and enthusiam one might have playing a round of Volleyball, while at the same time striving to be as meticulous as possible in combat, although she knows she still has a lot to learn in this area.

Her sire taught her the powers of the blood, and she works each night on fine tuning her abilities and finding other Kindred stupid enough or needy enough to share their secrets with her. She however would never share her secrets with those outside the blood. The simple fact that she was told she cannot is good enough for her, although her sire never really explained some of the deeper politics of the clan as he should of, as if he thought it better for her to experience those things on her own.

The only things Jasmine was actually taught were the five laws of Haqim, how to speak and understand the languages and codes she can now decipher, and the other thing Danvir constantly said. "The other clans are our enemies. We tolerate them, when we must. But never, ever forget that they are not the same as us."
